November’s Stone – Kyanite

Kyanite’s astrological signs are Aries, Libra and Taurus

It  is a stone of meditation; useful for those desiring a tranquil and calming force – it works to balance the yin-yang forces allowing one to turn within more easily.

Interestingly, the majestic crystal Kyanite is one of the only stones that will not take in any negative energy so need never be cleansed. It is an exquisite choice for removing blocked energies and connecting with ones guides on the Astral plane and is useful when you are doing dream work.

Kyanite is a powerful agent when clearing and opening Throat Chakra as well as the Third-Eye Chakra (the center of the forehead). Kyanite has been recorded to be an amazing tool for healing work when lain between the navel and heart Chakras as well (the belly and heart).

On an emotional level, Kyanite bridges our intuition and our emotional heart, producing unconditional compassion (divine wisdom with unconditional love). In this way, Kyanite is able to connect us to the Celestial Realm – helping us to lift our abilities of intuition, communication and intimacy. Kyanite also dispels anger and frustration providing a stabilizing pull to the vibe of unconditional love.

Faerie Card for November 2012

November introduces us to the ‘Singer of Healing’.

The song of Healing is everywhere and is without limit. The presence of this Singer reminds us that we always have love and support when we focus on healing ourselves and others. Again, this Singer’s message is mirrored in the Rune Uruz. As we travel a healing path, we will each encounter resistance, blockages and darkness that we each must work through. But the Singer is here to remind us (as does Uruz) that by letting go of this resistance and blessing what it has taught us; that we make a space within ourselves for the next experience that will progress our Self growth.
Even when we focus on healing for others, we are always affected by that healing energy. Open yourself to this energy let yourself give of it freely; however, always remember to allow yourself to receive the gift just as much as you give.
There are a few things that we can do to help facilitate healing in ourselves and others – stay in calm balance…perfectly lifted and perfectly grounded. Keep your heart open and give unconditional love to those you wish to heal.

Especially remember to love yourself. Meditate and be open to the guides that are always with you to help and support you in this most important work. Remember to call on them for help whenever you need. They are happy to help.
Giving and receiving healing and blessing to ourselves, to all of humanity, to the planet will let your Heart sing out in Joy. There is no better place you can be!

Rune for November 2012

As everyone comes down from their Halloween sugar buzz, we quiet ourselves and look to the runes to see what message awaits us for November. This month, ‘Uruz’ holds our attention.
Uruz is the rune of terminations and new beginnings; fitting as we approach not only the end of the year, but also the next big election that will guide our country and us as individuals. Uruz also ushers us into the seasonal transition as November’s bitter winds and blowing leaves lets us glimpse the coming winter.
Just as the seasons follow their path of death, decay, fertilization, gestation and rebirth, so do our life’s journeys. Uruz indicates that the life we have been living has outgrown its form. What does that mean for you personally? Are there lessons that you feel are complete or nearing completion? Some of those journeys may descend into what we perceive as darkness, but don’t be frightened. Think of this time in the cycle of your progress through a relationship or career as the coming of its Winter. Settle in, find comfort in the warmth and the dark, reflect on the lesson that it has taught and smile as you await the bright light that Spring will bring. Remember that you must pass through this darkness to emerge into the light, and to the next step on your path.
Also know that, as you walk this part of your journey, you may experience emotions of loss and ending. Acknowledge those feelings and give blessing and gratitude towards the situation that you must now let go of…because in letting go, it allows you a new perspective and allows you open the door to new opportunities that will increase your growth on your chosen path.
As we all journey on our own Heart’s path, know that we are not alone in our travels. Our paths are all intertwined. Uruz tells us that as one intersection draws to a close, another is there to expand our knowledge, our hearts and ourselves. Give blessing and gratitude to what is complete and open your heart in Joy to what is just beginning.

The Goddess Hecate Speaks

Where is it that you are compromising, lovey? What is it that you bring to the cauldron this day, this night; to leave behind in the vast matrix of transmutation? What is it you wish for that Void of infinite wonder to reveal to you? What answers do you seek?

I am not keen to showing you co-dependent love…I am unconditional. Therefore, you must come to own responsibility for your own suffering and drama – they are brought on by the voice in your head; the voice of chaos, limitation, fear and compromise. You are willing to compromise because you are afraid of the unknown and do not know how to stay seated in the center of your being. In this center you are free from suffering, un-moving from your highest good, and willing to do whatever it takes to stay in this highest version of love.

Ask for my assistance to show you the way – I will…but beware! If you decide to choose for compromise again out of your own free will again, things may become far more bumpy than before. You don’t have to live life rubbing up against the old habits of pain, sorrow, fear and limitation any longer – but you must see that only you can choose for anything else. And your choice must be made unconditionally: without any person, place, thing or relationship needing to look, feel or be any certain way in order for you to know this freedom. My essence does not cater to conditions – in truth, neither does yours.

I can guide you into the depths of your subconscious where the stories, beliefs, mechanisms of destruction and limitation began and are held. I can show you how to traverse these dark caverns and how to shine light therein. I can give you the means to make new choices when the old, familiar and oh-so-comfortable ways arise. I can show you the crossroads of choice! There is never just the “this or that” your mind has for you. Your mind is limited. The Universe is infinite and exists to serve you – let it. Get out of the way!

Call on the essence of me, Hecate, to shine light on your erroneous beliefs and allow me to show you the way of courage, conviction and living life unafraid of the dark. When you ask for my guidance I will not and can not fail you. It is, however, up to you to intentionally meet me and these gifts over and over again.

The Herstory of Hecate:

(Much of what is below came from this source: http://www.magickalwinds.com/info/2009/11/05/november-16-2009-is-the-night-of-hecate/ )

November 16 is The Night of Hecate. Hecate is the Triple-goddess (maiden-mother-crone). She is also a Moon Goddess. Hecate is a symbolic icon of the crossroads and the threshold to the underworld (our subconcious and the times in our lives that are likened to “the dark night of the soul.”) November 16 is The Night of Hecate. Hecate is the Triple-goddess (maiden-mother-crone). She is also a Moon Goddess. Hecate is a symbolic icon of the crossroads and the threshold to the underworld (our subconscious and the times in our lives that are likened to “the dark night of the soul.”)

Hecate (also spelled, Hekate) is a torch-bearer and her companion is a hound. She can guide lost souls to their destination, so calling on her for situations where earth-bound entities are involved is useful. She can guide us, in while in our human form to our highest good through the darkness. Hecate gives us the gift of getting to know the darkness and the ability to maneuver through it rather than being afraid, resisting and denying this aspect of ourselves and our lives. Hecate is the energy that is the pinnacle of change – she is Changing Woman who resides in us all. She is the quiet still voice inside that knows which direction is a “YES” – protecting us from taking the wrong direction if we but listen and obey. Hecate is the key holder to Heaven and the Underworld as well as to Life on Earth – so she is a spiritual midwife to all dimensions. Asking for her assistance in making tough or sticky decisions can be useful. When working with setting intentions, prayers or spell-work she can guide and amp-up the potency of your work. Hecate is the is the Queen of the Witches – she is our connection to magic. Hecate’s male counterpart is Hermes/Mercury. She is the inquisitive, curious, sprite-ly maiden and the fierce and fiery mama bear – the goddess of growth and fertility. She is the wise crone and she is the inspiring animation beneath these faces which summons just the right aspect at just the right time. Have fun exploring this aspect of Nature – this aspect of yourself…and happy November.

By the way…here is a little fun November Moon knowledge for you: The full moon this month is Wednesday, November 28 (depending on where in the world you are) and is called in many traditions by the following names: The Beaver Moon, The White Moon, The Dark Moon, The Trading Moon, The Sassafras Moon and The Snow Moon. There are others. Whatever name she goes by to you this month, enjoy here potent, healing, nourishing vibes. Namaste.

Blessings of Deep Unwaivering Peace to YOU!!!
